For those who are a little older, you would have probably watched Sybil on television back in the 1976s. Sybil is a made for tv movie production starring the very famous Sally Field as a person who suffers from a mental issue of dissociative identity disorder.

Now that its almost 30 years since the series has ended. CBS is doing a remake of the show Sybil and what is so special about the series that they are doing a remake ? The answer is because of Tammy Blanchard.

Tammy Blanchard as Sybil is an absolutely match of roles. The actress portraying Sybil is best known for her performance in playing Judy Garland in “My Life As Judy Garland” in which we gives an amazing performance as the damaged and feeble Sybil.

Sybil usually faints and it may go on for days at a time, losing track of time and she can’t quite put her past together. When Sybil blacks out, someone else comes in and takes her place and she becomes a different person with different personalities. The new Sybil movie has a more linear storytelling format and less busy storytelling devices which aids Tammy Blanchard mesmerizing performance.
